Network Admin

Network Admin is an enterprise administrative portal that provides authorized users with centralized visibility into patient and transaction activity across their Health Gorilla–enabled integrations. It supports program-level monitoring, governance, and operational oversight across participating organizations.

Network Admin is a licensed add-on that isn't enabled by default. If you don't see it in your environment, it isn't enabled. To find out whether it's available for your organization, contact Health Gorilla.

Authentication

You sign in to Network Admin with your Health Gorilla account, using either single sign-on (SSO) or standard Health Gorilla credentials.

If your organization uses SSO, you sign in through your identity provider, the same as with Patient360, configured per tenant with OpenID Connect or Security Assertion Markup Language 2.0. Health Gorilla doesn't provision SSO users automatically. Instead, your organization creates each account in both Health Gorilla and its identity provider, and every account uses the employee's work email address. Only an employee with a matching work-email account can sign in through SSO. Setup steps are covered in the SSO Setup Guide.

Access

When Network Admin is enabled for your organization, you need Network Admin permissions for the organization. If you do not have permissions for a component of Network Admin, it does not appear in the left menu.

Components

After signing in, you reach these components from the left menu:

• Organizations: Directory information for your organization.
• Reporting:
  • Network Stats: Demographics, document, and data exchange reports, showing patterns over time. Available reports differ for United States and Canada.
  • Patient Transactions: Transaction-level details on an individual patient's document retrieval activity, in both the outbound and inbound directions.
• Transactions: Audit log of exchanges your organization takes part in. Each entry records the exchange type, the organizations involved, the purpose of use, the outcome, and the timing.
• Master Patient Index: List of patients your organization holds records for, with their identifiers and linked organizations.
