Patient Chart Viewer

Document Grouping and Filtering: New APIs in the Patient Chart Viewer support grouped document views for the C-CDA Documents, Discharge Summaries, and Files & Images pages, with filtering by document group, content type, and metadata categories. Metadata endpoints and admin auditing filters have been expanded to include document-group and transaction-group classifications.

Resolutions

• C-CDA Author Provenance: Updated C-CDA parsing and validation logic in the Patient Chart Viewer to reliably extract and validate author details across Functional Status, Allergies, and other supported document segments.
• Functional Status API Retrieval: Resolved an issue in the Patient Chart Viewer retrieval logic that prevented imported Functional Status records from being returned through the API.
• Subscription Endpoint Validation: Resolved an issue in the FHIR Subscriptions service that prevented the creation of event-delivery subscriptions using direct IP-based webhook callback URLs.
• Demographics Update Behavior: Corrected the handling of optional demographic fields — specifically tribal affiliation — in the FHIR Patient PATCH endpoint to allow the clearing of existing values when blank or null inputs are submitted.
• Print Preview Correction: Resolved a Print API issue in the Patient Chart Viewer that prevented document previews from rendering attached files correctly.
• Billing Process Reliability: Resolved a row-limit overflow issue that prevented the export of large Lab Network reports.
